This is what the past 6 months of my life sounds like. 

This whole thing started off as one song, “Waking Up Next To You.” Then it became a series of demos only to be released on my soundcloud. Back then I referred the series as “Songs She Sang In My Dreams.” The title and much of the inspiration came from a song by the artist Dntel (http://soundcloud.com/dntel/5-song-she-played-in-my-dream). Over the 6 months that followed the series of demos developed into a full blown album/e.p or whatever you want to call it. For the first time I made something that tells a story (or at least is supposed to), this is not 8 songs simply compiled together into a download. This literally is my life for the past 6 months. This album is about many things, and is subject to numerous and conflicting interpretations (even for me), however as of right now if I had to say; it is mostly about forgiving yourself for past mistakes, starting over, and loving again. I gave up three hundred thirty-six hours of my life to tell this story (that’s two weeks), but it was worth it. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much I enjoyed making it.
