To try to describe this work in a short blog post would be impossible; there is so much I wan to say about it. Maybe one day I’ll get into details but for now, just a short and vague description. Each song has multiple meanings depending on the perspective I take, what time of life I view it from, and what relationship I hold it relevant to. It applies to things of the past as well as things going on right now in my life. I guess the most important thing I can say about it in this limited space is that this piece tells a story that is very important and close to me. I hope that listening to it evokes a strong emotional reaction in you, like it does for me.
I’d like to thank Zulfikar Poluan for all his hard work, I’m really proud of you man! Went from knowing nothing about Ableton Live; not even knowing how to play a single instrument, to co-producing this shit. That’s raw talent right there.
I’d also like to thank Natrina Gandana for her vocal and lyrical contributions. Your voice made “Tutorial” and “Handstands.”
And of course I’d like to thank you the reader and listener. I am so grateful that people actually listen to the music I put out. Words cannot explain.
